Typical course participants are Facilities Managers, Building Contractors, Asbestos Removal Workers, Building and Health and Safety Managers and staff members whose jobs may bring them in contact with asbestos or risk of an asbestos exposure.

Whether you require multiple sessions throughout the day or just the one operating nationally we will find the best solution to your needs.

In-house training is subject to a 'one off' fixed fee which covers up to the maximum permitted on the course.

Asbestos Training


The Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR) 2006 has placed a need for suitable awareness training for operatives who may come into contact with asbestos in their daily work.

It is not sufficient for workers to have awareness training just to recognise the various types of materials which are dangerous, but rather they must have training that covers a whole range of issues.

For example:

• general asbestos awareness of where it has been used,
• the use of protective equipment,
• how exposures occur,
• what the health risks are,
• safer working methods,
• correct asbestos disposal, and
• emergency procedures

In order to avoid future compensation claims you must ensure your premises and places of work are covered by a suitable Asbestos Survey, conducted by a competent surveying company, and your workers have sufficient asbestos awareness training to understand the contents and scope of an asbestos report.

80 Twenty Projects can provide Asbestos Awareness Training at your premises or a suitable venue (maximum 20 attendees).

80 Twenty Projects Ltd is capable of delivering training by asbestos training providers complying with the ACoP L143. Regulation 10 of L143 (Information, instruction and training).

Currently we are delivering both
Type 1 - Asbestos management and asbestos Awareness and,
Type 2 - Training for non-licensable asbestos work.
